Welcome to Sprudge Wine, your home for global natural wine culture and original journalism. Sprudge Wine is part of the Sprudge Media Network, founded in 2009 by Jordan Michelman and Zachary Carlsen, the publishers of Sprudge.com, the world’s most popular coffee publication. Sprudge Wine launched in June of 2017 with a worldwide network of editors and contributors dedicated to progressive wine culture.

We interview the world’s leading natural wine producers and highlight top wine bars, restaurant wine lists, bottle shops, and wine personalities. We feature the best in architectural and product design, while publishing original and breaking wine content daily from an international team of talented professional photographers, writers, and illustrators.

We believe there are many definitions and stances on what “natural” wine means—and that this itself is a story worth telling. But more than that, we believe natural wine is worthy of journalism, that small winemakers are artisans with a story to tell, and that the global export and import of natural wine is its own form of art.

We don’t believe in point scores. We do believe in ordering another bottle.
